Identity & Media: Q&A with UndocuMedia’s Founders:

Join us for a Q&A with Justino Mora and Ivan Ceja, the co-founders of UndocuMedia. DREAMers are harnessing the power of social media to reshape the narrative around immigration while forging alliances with other social-justice groups. UndocuMedia was created to share information, through various forms of media, that pertains to legislation that addresses and affects the undocumented community. The nonprofit that has functioned primarily as a means of social media organization: with large followings on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.

The platform has since evolved to become a social media platform to talk about a wide array of issues beyond just the undocumented community. In this Q&A, we will learn more about the co-founders’ journey in growing the platform, how they maintain intersectionality within their movement, and the triumphs and obstacles that come with centering one’s identity in the media they produce.

Light snacks will be provided.
